Dear Neighbors,

Hi, I’m Jennifer Wadsworth, a wife, mother, community advocate, and fourth-generation Utahn, and I’m running for Alpine City Council. Like many of you, my husband and I chose Alpine as the place to raise our three children because of its open spaces, rural charm, and strong sense of community.

I hold a master’s degree in public administration and have years of policy experience.  I currently serve as the policy advisor for the Utah State Board of Education. My work is grounded in the values that have shaped generations of Utahns—hard work, resourcefulness, service to others, and respect for our land and open spaces. Since moving here six years ago, I’ve been actively involved in strengthening our community. I serve as Chair of the School Community Council, have held local and state PTA leadership roles, helped Alpine's three elementary schools earn Kindness School certifications, serve on the Sculpture Park committee, assist with the senior luncheon, and founded a nonprofit that supports local families and community programs. Through this work, I’ve built strong relationships with residents, staff, and leaders across our city.

Alpine faces critical decisions about protecting our small-town character, managing growth responsibly, and using taxpayer resources wisely. I’m ready to get to work on day one with practical leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a deep commitment to our future. I would be honored to earn your trust and your vote.
